12classes Greek School of Hungary (Hungary) Print

The 12 classes Greek School of Hungary is a school which teaches Greek language as a second language for school-age children and as a foreign language for adults, specially for unemployed persons who are members of the Greek minority. It was established in 1996 as a Sunday school and, after that it became a Complementary School. It is financed from the Hungarian Ministry of Education and this year 280 children were registered both from Greek and from non-Greek origin. The school has the right to organize final school exams and is also an examination Centre for the Exams of the Greek Language Certificate awarded by the Greek state.
