R.E. GLOSSA – Advancing the teaching and learning of less widely taught European languages

GLOSSA is a European Union education project under the LifeLong Learning Program. The project is to help language educators and authorities across Europe. It is building methodologies, practices and courses specifically to help develop language learning and teaching for the less widely taught languages of Europe. This is being completed by:

  • Building methodologies for learning in online environments (advanced levels & autonomous)
  • Creating transferability to other European languages
  • Developing a Greek e-learning multimedia courses at C1 & C2 (CEFR)
  • To develop a common European professional profile for language teachers
  • To adapt an accreditation tool for non-formal and informal language teaching skill
  • We would be very grateful if language educators can help the project by answering the following questions about online language courses:

      Part 1 - Experience

    If you have never used or been involved in running or preparing an online course then you just need to answer NO in question 1 and jump to Part 2.

    1. Have you ever been involved in running or preparing an online course an online (eLearning) foreign language course?                      Yes/No
      If you have been involved in multiple courses please describe the last one you were involved in.
      1a. Please name the platform that was used for your course (for example, Moodle) ?
      1b. Was training for students successful?   Yes/No

      1c. How was tutor support delivered ?       
      1d. Do you think it was a successful course in terms of student outcomes ?  Yes/No
